Downtown in Dior: City of Lights City Guide

Paris is my favorite city and I could write an entire blog on it. No matter how many times I go back, the weeks spent there have not been enough and there is always something new to discover and fall in love with. My favorite memories of Paris have been all the times that I spent there in the summer and fall, day trips to château de Versailles, visiting museums, people watching at cafes, the French breakfasts with their delicious jambon & yogurts, having the best pizza at Brasserie Le Carrousel, and the boat trips at night. I haven't been back in a few years and truly miss it. Some of the photographs were taken by my dad from a few summers ago - This city guide is dedicated to him as well as to K & D who will be visiting France this fall...Cherish every moment

Chateau de Versailles is a magical place. After exploring the palace and the grands appartements (the hall of mirrors is a must see), the last few times that I have been there were spent outdoors in the gardens. We took the little train to the Petit Trianon and had a picnic by the lake with some champagne. It looked like a storm was coming the last time that we were there but luckily it did not rain at all. We saw people who live nearby the palace ride their bicycles throughout the outdoor grounds and it made me want to include that on my bucket list of things that I would love to do in the future.
