The Lake House

Laura and I are starting a photoblog with our adventures! I am so happy about this because I was just thinking about that today after we went on our first walk in a very long time. Laura texted me and said that we should start one and I was so happy. After all of these years, we are still very much on the same page.

Today is also the first day that I felt inspired to blog or post anything online. She took me to see the 1960s designed and built Baldwin House at Deer Lake park and I fell in love. It was designed by Arthur Erickson who most notably designed Simon Fraser University. It is owned by the City of Burnaby and currently leased to The Land Conservancy of British Columbia. Our dream goal is to rent it for a week in the summer, however, I can't find online that it is currently available as a rental. A few phone calls may need to be made.

Under Construction

Unsure what to do with this space even though I love blogs and blogging but really haven't had the time or opportunity in the last little while (last few years). It is not because I am lacking in inspiration. On the contrary. There are so many projects that I would love to do but I can't even bring myself to put last summer's photo adventures in a photo book. Hopefully I will get a chance to do something again because I love this type of creative outlet and taking photographs and writing little stories and captions that go with them. Things I love and hope to document: cooking, kitchen and outdoor adventures, painting, fashion, interior design, travel & memoirs.
Until we meet again
